Hi all,

I received ITA in Feb 2020 and Aor in March and I am still waiting for my PR to be approved. I am an inland applicant and my PGWP got expired in May which I extended through bridging work permit (which I received in June). My question is should I apply for visa extension too considering my visa expired in May along with my original pgwp. My worry is if I apply for visa now they may ask for passport request and if I get PPR then I will be stuck.

I have been getting conflicting answers. Should I anyway apply for Visa extension. If I don't apply will it have a negative imoact on my PR application.

If you have your BOWP approved, you do not need to apply for visa extension. If your BOWP is valid, you can keep working .
