Lol thx for the response. Haha what a system

They push the ones that are already inland faster the others... they make us wait and wait..

Curious about the line that says increased spousal application in canada by 66%. Does this include spouses outside of Canada as well?

My questions exactly, and here's what 1116 has responded to me ...

"I do not think its inland alone its both because they use the term reunite. Inland means that the applicant and sponsor is in Canada."

"I just confirm its outland application mostly."

"I check twitter and today I call the immigration."

So, that's the latest on it. I personally don't understand how 66% more decision makers in Canada are going to help speed up the processing of outland applications when those applications spend so much time overseas in visa offices. But what do I know?!

Its crazy I had to ask the agent more than one times he placed me on hold for 20 minutes to confirm.

Agree, cause once the application is with the VO overseas Canada Agents usually say nothing they can do about your enquiry on the application and to contact the VO where the file is at.

I believe they actually know what is happening with our application but because of their procedure and confidentiality they cannot divulge any information.

Agree but I was referencing the 66% increase of agents for inland Canada application, it doesn't help overseas. The system is bias and really confusing with no clear info and just left us hanging with assumptions.

My response to today's announcement that the government will finally move forward to reunite separated loved ones. This is a welcomed step forward but many are still left out.

Hey guys, did anybody add a new born to their application while in progress? The webform is asking me to send directly to the VO but the VO is asking me to send documents to Canada where the process started. Can anybody please help?
