Hello Everyone, i was suggested by my friend to get advise from you guys as i m going through suffering of wait. I applied bc-pnp regular in nov,2017 and recieved bc-pnp approval(NOC-B,Administrative assistant) in february,2018. I recieved my application number on 15,March 2015 for paper based pr application. I was told that it would take 18 months maximum to process my application. I was never asked for anything for whole 2018. I got married in january,2019 in India. My wife was already in Canada as international student from April,2018. We met and decided to get married. I asked my immigration consulatant also if it was ok to get married inbetween processing of my application; she said its ok. I updated my profile in feb,2019 about my marriage. My wife left university and got open work permit in may,2019. We also recieved medical request in April,2019. After that, i was expecting them to complete my file by end of september,2020(as it would make 18 months) but we got request for pcc for india and canada for me and my wife. Moreover they asked all of my documents like my college transcript and job letter again. They also asked us to submit proof of relationship; we submited proofs like same bank account, our bills on same address and rent lease agreement. After that, i called cic to know what was going on and i got to know that my was transferred to local office(vancouver) in may,2019. In february,2020 i got call from vancouver immigration office; he asked me about my address, my wife’s occupation, my employer and my work hours and he told me that he will take decision on my file in around 2 months. After that, i got call from bc-pnp in may,2020 and they asked me about my job duties and hours and where am i working that day; pnp officer asked me to send last 2 pay stubs and 2019 t4 form to pnp’s email. She also called my manager to ask about my job duties; it went well. After that, we got request to submit PCC (only canada;not india’s pcc) agian for just my wife on 17 August,2020. We have not recieved anything after that. My family is going through a lot of stress. I dont know what to do. I have requested Caips notes now and have also request my local MP to enquire about my application. My work permit is also going to expire on 4 nov,2020. Whenever i call cic, i always get an answer that the good news is that they dont anything else from my side now and they are just checking backgroud. I dont have any idea whats going on. The worst part of my life is that i am working with same employer from last 3.5 years and i m getting very upset with my work as i have no fix schedule and i am not happy with this employer now. If i ask my consultant to change my emoloyer ; she always ignore my request by advising me that i shoulf not change anything in my application now as it would increase MORE time in processing. Please friends, advise me what should i do to out of this situation. Sometimes i think to withdrawing my application when i get very much frustrated. please help me guys!
I think you went wrong on marriage ....

So you could have been pretty close to pr when you got married i guess.
Now after marriage almost everyone knows that file is transferred to vancouver and literally whole process is started again.
Try for express entry you already have a lot of experience
And yes cases that are similar to you take time , i know some through my friends who got pr in 30 months. some in 27 some even 36.
and you are still 20 months. So maybe you are pretty close now. Hope you get DM soon
Well thats my opinion and rest depends on your case and if officer has any concerns. So be patient provide whatever is asked on time and your case will be processed

Hello all. I am the principal applicant. If my spouse leaves her present job, do I need to update her records to IRCC probably through webfor. If so, do I need to update nominating province too?

Did IRCC asked u or BC GOVT? I was asked employment details for my support letter to apply for BOWP. I did my masters and got nominated for International Post-Grad category which does not require job offer
IRCC asked for this letter
