Congratulations! Did service Canada allowed you to select which branch you’d be giving your bio? Or is it automatically set based on the Service Canada office closest to where you live?

what type of info did they ask before scheduling your appointment?
I think is based on service Canada center closer to you.
They didn't allow me to choose.
They gave option with regard to the time and I chose 9 in the morning

He's right, folks.

Call the IRCC number: 1 888 242 2100. I just called.
Listen to the long automated message, wait a bit as they get through a few pieces of information regarding Lebanon, etc.
It says that Service Canada is calling in-Canada applicants to make biometric appointments, and that these calls are made in the order of when your application was received. Finally some good news after SO LONG!
Hi there, thanks for sharing. I just have a question about the order of the calls. Is it by the order of the AOR or the date received Biometrics collection letter?

TBH I am seriously considering going to NYC for biometrics. My AOR was issued on APR 20, god knows how long it will take for me to receive the phone call.

Based on the announcement, it’s going to be based on your AOR and number of applicants near a SC location.

“If you’re in a region where there are a lot of people waiting to give their biometrics, like the Greater Toronto Area, it may take longer for Service Canada to call you. They will contact you as soon as they can.”

What were the time options? Every half an hour or hourly?

AOR Feb 20. BIL Mar 2. Toronto. Waiting.
Has anyone in GTA gotten a call yet for biometrics?

Just read the full article posted by IRCC. It says that"

Service Canada is calling those who have been waiting the longest to give their biometrics, based on

  • the date their application was submitted to us
  • where they live

Hello all,

I don’t think I ever even gave my phone number on my application - just email.

Is there a specific place where I’d of entered it?

thanks

You cannot finish the application without giving your phone number.

For your peace of mind: Since the contact number has become such an important thing for biometrics appointment, wanted to put this out for you. If you want to check to see if the contact information that you submitted is correct, you can do so by logging into to IRCC profile -> View submitted documents.

The URL will look like: https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eapp/documentsToSubmit.do

Change that to: https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eapp/applicationChecklist.do

And press enter

You will be able to see the information that you filled out.

Cheers
