My background check status shows "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information". Does it mean R10 is completed and I am on IP2 stage? Is this the same status showing for you guys too? For some reason, it was the same message for me from the beginning, but some articles says it's IP2 message as opposed to IP1 ("We will start your background check"..something like that) . Bit confused.

Yes, it takes time for MEP, which will be the first update you see. It will largely depend on when your medicals are transmitted by your panel physician.

Hi @legalfalcon
1) How much days after requesting notes from getgcms.com .. are the notes actually generated?

2) I have received the MEP/BIL & RPRF requests so far. Webform reply also mentioned that I meet the eligibility requirements.

Is this a good time to apply for GCMS notes?

Did you receive your AOR in July 2020, and the Webform reply says that you've already passed the eligibility requirements? If so, wow, that is very fast!

The notes are usually generated a few days after the request is filed.

The GCMS notes help to know the status of your eligibility and other progress on your application. Usually the eligibility is done 2-3 months post AOR. Anytime after that is a good time. If you request GCMS notes too early, you won't see any note pertaining to eligibility as it may not have started.

Thanks. So, since the webform response says that I meet the eligibility requirements, would it be correct to assume that the same would already be mentioned in the GCMS, if I order them now?

I mean, it could be passed by analyst or officer, but since the webform says I meet the requirements, it would reflect in the GCMS notes, right?
