Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

Hi All,
I submitted my 7 year kid passport renewal from Toronto postal only. PV already has done and last week I got status PV review is in progress with RPO.
but when I check file status this week I got following error on Indian Passport status website (https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/statusTracker/trackStatusInpNew)
The status of the entered File Number is not available in the system

Till last week it's showing status with my application number starting with catXXXXXX. but this week I got this error, does anyone have any idea on this.

I am facing the same issue. Got an email saying PV initiated. Until yesterday I could see the status on the Indian Passport website. Now it says the file number is not available.

did you check with a small letter this week, I checked this week and got error that file number not in the system. till last week I am able to see the status but this week I got error on Indian passport website.

Yes I had checked with small letters. I got the same error. It still says the file is not available.

that means something wrong with this website, do you know now how we can check our application status. on BLS it only shows the process to the consulate general. I called BLS and they said the same whatever mentioned on the BLS site

BLS just says processing at CG. Is your police verification done yet?
Mine is at the initiation stage. I will be sending someone to the police station to get the verification done. Mostly then I can get a clear picture of whats happening

yes mine is done and last status on Indian passport website was PV is under review with the regional passport office RPO. I also confirmed with the police station and they said they already submitted a report and now it's with the passport office

Can someone say what is the process of Police Verification in India? Can we do verification without sending someone to the Police Station? Ideally the Police is supposed to come at location and do the verification but Bangalore Police are too lazy to come ..instead they call the person to the station and top of that they ask bribe also..

I have applied for my passport renewal. Its in "Passport application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate. " I have submitted my application on 18-08-2020, now CAT is generated in indian passport website but i try to track with cat number its saying no records found.. Please do guide me what should i do now

Hi! My passport is expiring in December this year. I checked the BLS website and it seems I would need to submit the copy of PR card along with the landing document. Unfortunately, I have lost both of them. However, I have a copy of the front of my PR card but it turns out I would need a copy of both front and back of the card. Do I need to have both the PR card and the landing document to be able to apply for the passport renewal application or just one should suffice?

Submitted my passport for renewal at BLS Lawrence Ave, Toronto. Below is the timeline:

15-Aug - Walkin Submission
18-Aug - Status updated to 'In-Transit to Consulate General'
20-Aug - Status updated to 'Processing at Consulate General'
27-Aug - Received email about Initiation of Police Verification
30-Aug - Constable from Local Station visits home in India for Verification and requests additional proofs ( drama for bribe)
01-Sep - Constable re-visits home to verify additional proofs and accept the fee (bribe)
09-Sep - Status still shows 'Processing at Consulate General'

you can track the status of your application by sending an SMS to 9704100100 in the format '<< STATUS >><< SPACE >><< File Number >>', for example, STATUS BNG071268435013.
