The visa officer doesn’t deserve to check if you worked during the pandemic because they got free money and do nothing during the pandemic. If they are not satisfied, they are shameless.

technically they can refuse. and IRCC is not a provincial. so they can ignore provincial effort.

I realize one more thing from my GCMS note,
IRCC never scanned my documents.
so it makes sense they did nothing on my application. they can't access my file after COVID

So how exactly did you receive AOR if nothing scanned ?

my AOR was Aug 2019. I think they use my paper file instead scan the paper.

Dude, when you receive AOR that is the proof that they are scanned.
They will not process your AOR without scanning them to the system..

what I mean is their new effort after COVID.
and Canada is not that smart to scan all document. my friend who worked as an intern at IRCC said they use a original paper document and even we request a GCMS note, they print out to paper a GCMS note, and wipe out the sensitive data by hands and scan manually by scanner. that't why GCMS note PDF file is all image, and we can't search a word from PDF.

ps. we all know that how Canada government mess with their own payroll system.

They are scanned as a security regulation :

As of your documents must be scanned since it is part of risk management. some documents are original and they cannot afford to lose them.
They are a government department and they need to follow the rules.
They may review the original but it is mandatory to scan them to their system.

Hi everyone; is it possible to apply for changing the close work permit to open work permit? My work permit extension application has recently approved (but changed to close work permit) for another two years, but I just got my GCMS note which shows the eligibility is passed.

I submitted all the docs upfront . My AOR came on jan 24,2020. When do you think i will get my DM.

If you are super lucky, will have to wait 13 months. If unlucky, 18 more months

dont know how they work now a days. Anything can happen.
