No idea even I'm the applicant I wish to call them but I have fear in my inside because they will tell me why the sponsor didn't call or your lawyer
VFS send me an email to let me know that the passport has been sent to my wife via courier this morning, so my wife should have the passport by tomorrow or Saturday
Thank you. The Airport in jordan will open sep/8 so i am planning to go to jordan within 2-3 weeks and come back together if everything went well. I wish you all the best to everyone.
Hi, I hope everyone is doing fine. I am sponsoring my husband, he has recieved PPR and he sent his passport to amman vfs. I am just wondering how long does processing take in IRCC until we see an update on gckey or recieve an email? And does PPR mean that his application has been approved for sure?
Probably need 2 week to be done. here is what happened with me :
VFS received my passport on Aug 19 , status on GCkey account changed to approved and eligibility and background checked updated to complete on Aug 26 and this morning VFS send the passport via Aramex so shouldn't take that long,
Thank you for reply. So the update on gckey took one week from the date vfs recieved the passport or from the date that the embassy recieved the passport and started processing?
From the date the embassy receive the passport, when VFS received your passport they contact you via email for each step happen to ur passport and next day from receiving it they will mail it to the embassy which will take one day to be delivered to the embassy . you will receive few emails from vfs telling you the status of the process in your passport they will keep you updated in each step. In my case it took on week to see the update in my GCkey account.
