if you really are doing GIC, might as well just pay the 1 year tuition fees and go ahead with SDS.

Thanks for you reply. Ive gone through CIC official website. It says to apply through SDS i should stay in India for past 6 months. Whereas due current situation i cant travel to India from Qatar. you have any views related to this?

Can you share the link where it says that you have to live in India for 6 months?

But it is no where written that you have to live in India for 6 months. You can take a trip back home and apply during that time and stay there until you get the visa. I am taking this in context to pre covid situation.
Because post Covid everything is delay so yo have to take 4-5 months break or else come back from that country permanently.

what is some one is working in another country? you cant quit your job and go back to india Just to apply for visa. if your visa gets rejected, you loose job and visa both. risky.

See the situation is up to you.Either go back to apply under SDS otherwise apply non sds from outside India. And if you are working, it is your decision what you want to do. Specially in covid situation I can’t suggest what you should do as everything is unpredictable.
And if you will apply under non sds then you know yourself it’s really hard to prove ties if you are living outside of India.
I hope I have made this clear.
Peace ✌
