Amman Visa Office (2019-2020) Spouse Visa

My wife mailed her passport on sunday and visa office received it monday. This morning visa office sent me email telling me that the passport dispatched to IRCC office for processing. I hope that will not take long time too.

I contacted visa office asking them for the fees and because my wife did biometric in amman for this application i do not have to pay the 12.60 i paid only 4.60 and i included the biometric receipt With other documents

Yesterday, i have received another email from VFS confirming that the Canadian embassy received the passport and it is under process now. Today its a holiday in jordan so hopefully next week we will hear a good news for everyone.

I am the sponsor and the representative for my husband, will this email come to me?

I am the sponsor too, but VFS do not have access to your application. So If you want the VFS to contact you , you need to put your email in the consent form that they sent to you once you got PPR.

In my situation, i put my email and i put my wife phone number in jordan in the consent form, because she told me the VFS called here asking her when she did her medial on Sunday.

So will be good to put some local contact information if they need something or to arrange the delivery of the passport. you could put your husband phone number and your email in the form.

The IRCC office in amman will use the email in the application. which will email you through the GCKEY account. this will not changed

Every VFS office is different i guess. my wife filled and sign everything except the first part in page 3.

That's the form you fill out whe you send your files in first place. If you have a lawyer, the consent form would be between lawyer and the applicant as they are the representative
