I just don't get it when people complain that express entry is much faster than paper based PNP applications.

Here you go. Are you familiar with sending mail? There's a few kind of mailing options. Two of them are express/expedited and the regular one. Express or expedited mail comes way faster than regular mail. Right? However, you pay more money for express/expedited mail than regular. But in Canadian immigration, an express entry applicant pays the same application fee as a PNP paper based applicant. The difference is not the fees but the qualifications. In the Express Entry category, IRCC selects candidates who have the highest points to get invited to apply for permanent residence, while those who do not have enough points to get invited for Express Entry, they have another option, that is the PNP category. So you see, IRCC prioritizes people with high CRS points than those who have lower points. It's as simple as that.

I feel really sad to hear that. then, why IRCC treats same to EE applicants who has NOC b jobs like NOC A/0 jobs. what you said is kind of first class citizen/second class citizen opinions.
And also normal mail customer has right to complain.

Phd and master graduates are also in PNP paper. They got nominations right out of school with no work experience required. In your words, phd and master degree holders are less qualified to immigrant to Canada? Since they are not able to do EE.
There are also many essential workers and front line workers in PNP paper. Trunk drivers , nurses etc. Are they less qualified ?

In Canadian immigration, EE uses ranking points to select candidate, but EE only takes up less than a quarter of immigrants (70,000 out of 300,000 in 2019). A majority of immigrants are coming through other categories.

Did spousal sponsorship rank their candidate? By what? How much do they love tach other?
Again, if you think 3-month EE versus 19-month PNP is fair and pleasant, enjoy your game. But don’t try to silence others.

1. In Canada, everyone is free to express their feelings.
2. In Canada, everyone should not be treated differently.

My opinion only:

Maybe EE is faster. Maybe because of these:

- Having english language proficiency: Is it easy to learn and be proficient? how many years of practice to learn? Are we english proficient enought to applyl for ee?
- Regarding age, how come we did not apply early? the younger, the higher points earned.. Did we decide early to apply as immigrant in Canada?
- Is our skills and experience is good enough to get higher point to be eligible?
- Is our education high enough get better points?

I am not good on those listed above.. Gaining them all takes more time.. :) That is why my patience is high...

Those are the things I am thankful that I am fortunate to have this paper PNP-based application open for me...

Sadly, that is how Canadian immigration works.
Your explanation is ridiculous and unbelievable. there is an online PNP option too, people get nomination via express entry as well. You have absolutely no idea about immigrations , there are semi skilled draws as well. All online applications are processed faster,
We did not use the PNP paper based , remember this provincial gov instructed us to apply by paper. Also remember immigration is mutual benefits between the country and immigrants. Both benefits , we are not refugees begging for free of services and free money from the gov. Everybody regardless of their qualifications finds a suitable program and apply. That’s my opinion about the immigration in Canada.
So you're saying that Canadian immigration system is not treating applicants equally and fairly? When you applied for paper based, I'm sure you know that it takes at least 18 months processing, and express entry takes at least 6 months. Why didn't you apply for express entry then?

I already answered that question. Prov gov asked you to apply via paper based
Yes, because that's where you qualify based on their system. Before you apply, you have to confirm that you agree to their terms and conditions, one of which is that it takes 18 months, so meaning to say you agree that it takes that long, and now you're complaining. What happened? You just changed your mind that you can't wait any longer?

A lot of PNP paper-based applicants are inland applicants who are already in Canada for 3, 5 even 8 years, with canadian experience, education, job offer in a skilled position etc...adopted, honest residents, paying taxes etc... Let's mention EE Foreign Skilled Worker Program when people are mostly from outside of Canada with high education, good or perfect english and couple years of foreign experience...they mostly have never been in Canada, have no job offer, get PR in 6 months come here and work as servers, cleaning ladies, sellers etc (if they are lucky to get a job)..as their foreign education in 90% is zero here. Priority??? It's what I'm talking about. But, we can't change anything, unfortunately.
Trust me, I've been here since 2015 and contributed around 100k canadian dollars to their economy and here I am still waiting to become a permanent resident and no complains. I just blame COVID-19, if not for that, I would have become a permanent resident a few months ago with my wife.

How funny!

You just educated others that “Before you apply, you have to confirm that you agree to their terms and conditions, one of which is that it takes 18 months”.

And now you said without COIVD , you should get your PR a few months ago. Despite the fact that you submitted your application about 13 months ago.
Yes, because I was optimistic enough that I will be like other applicants who got their application approved in 11-12 months. :)

Buddy, that’s why we are frustrated.... according to the trend, it should take about 12 months... but now, we are completely ignored...
While on the other hand, EE got approved within 3 months...
And IRCC did not give any update regarding paper application but “to extent possible.” Which means nothing.

I know but don't say we are completely ignored. That's false accusations.

Anyway, gotta go to bed. Have to get up early tomorrow for work.

Also, another funny fact. EE passed security within a few weeks. For me, 16 months , security not started. Why? Fair?
That is true. But what do you really want? You want paper based applications done in 6 months as well just like express entry? If so, it wouldn't make any sense to call it express anymore when they both get done at the same time frame.
