I wonder about it also. As I said under another thread, my husband has submitted his application on March 28, gave his biometrics on July 23, but has not received the corresponding letter so far, even the review has not been started yet. So frustrating. I wonder if it also depends on which areas of the US you live in, even if you apply online. We are living in LA, and somehow the VAC is closed.

Yes, I heard so. But it's interesting to find that some get approval already while others still keep waiting. So I wonder if it is because the VAC in LA still closes, therefore IRCC does not put high priority over applications from that area.

I see... Perhaps there are other factors behind the time of getting the application processed and approved then; or perhaps it's just random ...
