Yup, ONLY 19 months!! Really? It's supposed to take 12 months so I'd say it's a little overdue. We've been married for 6 years and together for 7 years, etc. I don't believe it should have taken the full time, but whatever, it's almost done now.

Mexico VO
happy for you guys! Wel reason I said only 19 months that’s because we’re 25 months in the process and still awaiting ppr. Lots of 2018 applicants in here still waiting so that’s why was alittle surprise. But happy you Guys got good news. We’re at trinidad VO.

Thank you! I realize there are others who have waited longer, remember no two files are the same so processing is different as well. You've mentioned in the past that your file went to the US instead of the correct VO, and you had to resend you application, etc. I'm sure that caused a major delay in processing your application. Not that it was your fault, just that $hit happens and we end up feeling the brunt of it ... just like CoVid19 and how many hassles it's causing everyone.

Mitch got good news last week, Patvicto yesterday and our turn today. :D I hope everyone gets very good news soon.

Yeah that’s true. We knew that’s what caused All The delay ,also this covid thing. But then again we’re grateful that Trinidad is up working again so yes we will get ours this months too, just one more step!! As well as the rest of those 2018 applicants in here. Two years for an application is really a long time. Smh. Trusting we all get great news very soon!!

BTW, you're July 2018 applicants, right? I know it's only two months difference but shouldn't that be 25 months? July 2018 - 2020 is 24 months (2 years) and it's early Aug. which is one more. We're Jan. 4/19 so 6 months behind you.

Yes we’re July 2018. Oh sorry now I re read my previous comment, my typo. So yeah we’re 25 months. So we’re hoping for this august month. Since it’s days are already moving rapidly.

So our application completed a year yesterday since applied, today it says on the gckey :

"Your application is taking us longer than usual to process.

About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests and whether the application is complete."
Is this a generic message after 1 year hit?
Got me worried now. Gush this is melting me down

I think they have restarted to work on permanent residence apps. It's just that it's gonna be tricky for PPR and all if VAC's are closed.

Email directly

Did a word document with proofs (copy paste, images.) ... and converted to PDF.
I did this same thing. I included all evidence of my relationship since I sent in the application and included written explanations for anything I thought might be a red flag for them. If you got married in under a year after meeting....explain it. If both families weren't in attendance then explain
