Hey guys!
Here's my timeline and I'm wondering if anyone can share theirs as well??

November 2019 - Graduated from University, At that point, enrolled in a post-graduate certificate program
February 20 - CIC Received study permit extension.
March 31 - Study permit expired
April 30 - Finished post-graduate certificate program
May 25 - CIC received PGWP application

I have a job offer from a financial institution that starts August 31st, I'm super worried I won't get my work permit by then. I've submitted my job offer document through the web form in hopes of having my application speedend up a little.
Singapore passport is biometric so I never needed to give biometrics.

I don’t think submitting a job offer would help speed up the process since pgwp is an open work permit.

yeah:( I understand.. working under financial institution is considered essential work in Ontario and they said they are prioritising those applications on IRCC. I checked with an agent as well so I thought I would try my luck! Fingers crossed.

Oh I wasn’t aware it’s essential service! Things might be looking good for you then. Best of luck! Just sharing my timeline here: applied for pgwp at late May. Started my full time job early June. Study permit expired on July 30th. Still waiting for decisions.

Still not sure though!! We never know what happens with IRCC. Hopefully :-( best of luck to you too. Oh dear, you applied for your pgwp last May and haven’t heard back?

My new passport should arrive in late August or early September and I applied for my PGWP in May, if the passport arrives before my PGWP has started processing I won't hesitate to upload it. Should I scan only the front page or all the pages even if I don't have any stamps?
Not an immigration expert, but if I were you, I would submit a copy of the front page containing your biodata and explain that you have a new passport. It won't make sense to scan and submit the unstamped/blank pages.

The newly posted processing time doesn't seem to apply to the no-biometrics applicants.

I applied for PGWP without biometrics on 03 April, which is 124 days ago. Eligibility review has not yet started. I'll post any updates here.
We appreciate that! We have some people here who have applied for their PGWP (without biometrics) since February up to present date. Keep checking here to see others' updates.

I applied back in early May without preexisting biometrics.

Hey! I'm in the same situation as you and might apply for a PGWP under the implied status of a study permit extension as I have not received that yet and I'm almost done with my course. Did you apply for a restoration + PGWP or just a PGWP?

I applied for my post grad permit back in Feb (Jan 31st to be exact) and have yet to receive any updates. I paid for my biometrics fees too and haven't received a letter either. I am working full time on implied status right now at the same company I did my internship at but it's been very stressful. Anyone who applied in Jan/feb and haven't heard back?

Oh also my sin expired as well so yeah a mess!!
