Hello everyone,
I'm the sponsor and my wife is principal applicant, I helped her to apply for PR through spousal inland program in April. According to the timeline of others, I'm afraid this would be a long waiting game.
She is currently on a visiting permit, she does not have OHIP, we recently just found out she is pregnant.
We are going to keep the baby for sure, so does anyone know:
1. at what stage she would be eligible for OHIP?
2. How much does it cost $$ in total to have a baby if we are paying all by ourselves, if she is not eligible for OHIP in the next 10 months?
3. Is there any information on how I could find a good & suitable hospital? I know we need to go to the clinic first to get an official test result.
4. Is there any insurance we can buy to cover complication during child birth?
Thank you!
Alex
