Winter 2021 Intake: Student Visa

Hy, I have applied for few college's for Jan intake. I'm anxious about what's happening around, like current announcement of IRCC is not clear about whether someone can still be rejected visa based on other reasons than they mentioned in their website. I already differed my decision to apply two times and now I don't know what else to do.
Based on the information they released, it is majorly focused for September intakes. I’m not sure if they are focused for winter intake upwards. I am planning on applying for my study visa next week also. Regarding the study visa, I think they will still reject/approve on the same basis as they have been doing previously, the only difference is if an applicant is approved but does not have the complete application (medical and biometrics) only then will they give the 1st approval.

Has anyone applied for student visa for winter intake and have you gotten any update on your application?
I am planning to apply for winter....the new measures announced on 14July are applicable for winter sem too?
I do not know too, I am planning on applying next week. Let us keep each other in loop regarding any update.
What you think if 1st stage aproves and students starts online stidy bit in 2nd stage he is refused what about his tution fee etc?
The chances of a refusal are slim, I think the 2nd stage focuses on the background check of the student and medicals. If you pass the 1st stage you should have a high percent chance of passing the 2nd stage. Regarding the tuition fees, I think you should contact your school regarding their policy.
Yea...I have only LOA and funds with me to apply for a Visa..You have all the doc ? like IELTS....etc ??
Yea,,,most probably....First stage we have to give SOP & family ties too..may be based on that decision may depends....btw what documents are required to show strong family ties to home country?

I am Nigerian so I don’t need IELTS. However, I have all the documents but no medicals. I want to do my medicals before I apply.
I don’t know what documents are required to show strong family ties, it’s quite tricky. If you have assets, or a job back at home you can state that in your SOP. Or clearly state how your program will improve your chances of employment and how it will be of benefit to your country.

I have shares in an Oil company and Bank. Then employment (still working), Another job waiting for me on my return from studies( it was the job requirement that's making me go for the course). Also have a car( bought it in wife's name), building a house, 2plots of land outside the one am building on, married but no kid(s) yet and have a pension account that I cant access until am 50years( am just 34). Can all these be used as ties to my home country?
All my families are based in my country except my sis who got married and the husband took her to Canada.
Your advice will be appreciated to help me move forward.

I feel what they'll do is they will allow entry to those students with sept intake first so that they can continue with there second sem course..
