What do you mean, from India? Whats the situation?Does anybody know if H4EAD can be renewed from India?
Is it like filing for H4 renewal + EAD and travel to India while its pending?
No, H4 stamping is done but the person is stuck in India. Wanted to know if the person's expired EAD can be renewed without that person being in the US

Spouse of an H-1B Nonimmigrant--(c)(26). File Form I-765 along with documentation of your current H-4 admission or extension of stay.
Proof of Your Status.
No H4 status then there is no H4 EAD. Seems you are doing it for first time. So refer the instructions.

Renewal and first time is the same thing. H4 EAD is conditional on having H4 status and there is no status outside the US.
