Hello Guys, I just got my ICES result and my Masters (which was referred as a postgraduate diploma by WES) is now shown as one-year Master's. I have updated the same on my EE profile but I am still suspicious. Is one-years Masters still Masters and the 7 points I received are they valid.
Hi, You can claim points for Masters now.

But please do not forget a very important step.
Since you are considering ICES ECA result in your express entry profile, make sure you raise a web form with WES and delete the pg diploma ECA result.

The process is called as deleting an evaluation.

I know of one person who's PR got declined since he had contradicting ECA results from 2 different ECA bodies. Exactly the same case like your's he had WES ECA as PG diploma.

Its such a simple step to do with WES " Deleting an evaluation" , people forget to do this once they get a positive ECA from another ECA body and then after 6 to 8 months, they face the consequences..

All the best !!

Thanks this is useful information.

Do you mean "Delete Account" from the link below?

Please how will IRCC find out if @tani90 has deleted the WES evaluation report from his express entry profile before getting an ITA.

when his wes profile was created, he would have chosen the option for IRCC. All electronic reports are accessible to IRCC.
In addition, his bachelors report might be from WES and Masters might be from ICES which is totally fine, but along with bachelors WES would have mentioned pg diploma as well in the summary section.

Its best to stick with one ECA result and not present 2 contradicting results in the express entry profile. I know of cases where the PR got declined.

Okay.. just one more question. I am kind of in the a similar situation too. At first my BSC and Diploma was evaluated by WES, and that was what I used in creating my express entry profile. Later on I evaluated both my BSC and Diploma with ICES which came out more favourable, afterwards I removed my WES report from my express entry profile and replaced it with the ICES report. Please is that okay?

In your case, you are presenting just one ICES report. It should be okay. Having said that, your WES report is accessible by the immigration officer if needed.

The positive part in your case is that you are presenting just the ICES report, so unless the officer wishes the to additional background checks.. you should be fine. But anyways to be 100% safe you should just delete the evaluation from your WES report of the credential whichever result was not favorable to you.

Tomorow is my birthday
Tomorow some predict there could be a chance of draw
I am at 474 with todays age
And tomorrow, my score will be 469
So lost chance and hope to migrate to canada because of corono
Just do not listen to people who will say the score will remain at 470. You will be through in two draws.
Mark my words, the score will plummet to the lower 460s before end of August
The whole group here was advocating that FSW draw will begin by Sep.
I was one of those saying that FSW draw will begin from July
Really weird to see dudes asking if they will be through with 470 points or above. Guess they simply wanna flaunt about their 470 plus scores or quite bored during this lockdown, but 460s and 50s, do not get disheartened. Your day is away by just 4 to 5 draws.
No one's from IRCC. Many here speculate that the cut-off will remain at 470 (despite very very less IELTS happening and ECA at snail place) which is really baseless and illogical.
CEC began with 469 (March) and came down to 450 in less than 4 draws
So all the 460s will be through (provided IRCC calls 3.9 k candidates consistently)
Will later come back to dudes who desperately wish that the cut-off remains at 470

I’m at 456 n did listen to many immigration consultants on YouTube. Most of them indicate or speculate that the CRS score will remain around 470s. Why are they saying that repeatedly ?

Consultants are not from IRCC and do not know really how IRCC functions.
They saw the trend of 470 since Oct 2019 and they give the default answer to every aspirant
Most consultancies speculated that the cut-off will be stagnated at 470 but CEC only draws began with 469 and came down to 450s in less than 3 draws
Many consultancies such as AskKubier and others were stubborn that FSW draw will happen only if borders are open (which was the talk of the town with every consultancy and vloggers). IRCC to those dudes and consultancies be like HOLD MY BEER.
The only factor that determines the cut-off is based on the number of high scoring dudes entering the pool
A friend of mine sent his documents to WES by May and surprisingly his ECA process has just begun. CES is even sluggish - all the ECA staff work from home and hence all transcripts were placed in the reception.
And not every Tom, Dick, or Harry will venture out to write IELTS (if they really care for their family) and bring the virus to home.
Plus IELTS is not happening in major cities of India, US, and China (major contributors to EE pool). They have resumed CD IELTS (only in 4 to 5 cities) and that too 50 candidates per week is the quota allowed.
So amid all this (not to forget that many are stranded, did not receive salary, many Indian cities under lockdown again, no Paper-based assessments, no public transport, and many other challenges), it is not possible that the cut-off remains at 470.
Also, as IRCC as resumed FSW draws, they are not set to again pause it (unless the situation gets really really horrible)
So dudes above 470, kindly do not flaunt your score and ask people if you will be invited and create panic to the 460s and 50s.
460s - I again bet that your day is not too far.
Be ready with documents and other details to upload once you get ITA (before end of August)
Lastly, there is a high chance of a draw today. When CEC exclusive draw took place first, they had back to back draws and this month has 5 Wednesdays. IRCC in the past has conducted B2B draws on months where there were 5 Wednesdays and hence be even more hopeful today.
A big request - do not reply to dudes (470s) if they ask whether they will receive ITA or not. Ignore such posts

Thank you for sticking to your guns and being positive, day after day. People above 470 please stop creating panic among the 460 people.
By the way @aj534160 , there doesn't look there will be any draws today because I havent seen that tweet they usually put before draws...you know the one about being unavailable etc.

Can you guide a little bit more on this please, dear. I got my credentials evaluated from WES (they gave me Bachelors + one-year Post Graduate Diploma). Thats the reason I went ahead with ICES to have a Masters (one-years Masters Program). I only want to delete the postgraduate diploma credential from my WES profile. How should I do that. Kindly guide me or direct me towards a forum where this thing has been explained in detail. Thanks again for this valuable profile.

I don't know why but your comment made me really happy. I am just trying to remain positive under the present circumstances. After going for multiple things to bolster my scores and wasting money on a consultant, I still feel Canada is a distant dream. Spoke with a student consultant as I feel getting a one-year degree might help or maybe learning French. I started studying a few days back and banging my head with the thought of grasping this beautiful yet tough language. I had a talk with a youtuber today (they run this service of paid calls) and he was also negative of scores dropping any time soon. I am just praying that atleast the paperwork gets over after people in the 460s get their ITAs. I really hope that in a few draws we will get an ITA. Thanks again for the through comment. I am praying this gets true. haha ! :)
