I have to disagree , Oman processing time shows 10 weeks , but I m on 42nd week and application is processed at Abudabi embassy....most of the applicants thru A.D is taking minimum 42 to 45 weeks , few essential worker recvd PPR request in june that was aftr 1 year.Since you applied from Bahrain, the Bahrain processing time would apply to you.
However due to COVID-19, all work permit processing is unfortunately much slower right now. So unfortunately it's really quite difficult to guess when you may hear back about your work permit application. You can try to send a case specific inquiry via webform to request the status of your application. You may get a helpful answer back. Or they may just send you a standard reply saying that your work permit is under process and they don't know when processing will be completed.

Yes same with me as per Bahrain showing 10 weeks processing time and still my application showing in progress..as I have completed almost 20 weeks. Back in Feb 2020 when my lawyer contacted them they responded about application being in background check.
When I contacted and got response after 11 days which was last week, they said as per their record they can only give update to lawyer as I have authorized him for the access to information and its lawyers emails address resgistered.
Hi Guys - I need some information regarding visa processing.Currently i am staying in Dubai and my Canadian employer have applied the work permit for Me with positive LMIA under GSS Stream. As i am staying in Dubai i have applied from here and submitted the biometrics on June 1 2020. Now my project is over and i should return to India once international flight resumes.
So is there any chance for me to transfer my visa application from UAE embassy to Indian embassy for further processing ?

From Dubai the minimum processing time is 39 weeks..in my case,my application submitted in February and the processing time is 10 weeks from Bahrain and it's more then 20 weeks and still showing in progress,so you can assume about your application dear..@Sambhav Kumar - Thank you for the information.With the current situation i dont know how long it will take to process ?
