I feel they updated notes 1 incorrectly in your case instead of someone else’s case. What does your assessment section in the first couple of pages show? That should be your actual case status as per my understanding. If they don’t match with Notes1 - You may want to call an agent and ask them about Note 1.
The assessment section shows Eligibility Review Required. That's why i am confused with the text in Notes 1.

For your case to move forward and also probably case of the actual person whose Notes1 was entered accidentally in yours (that’s my guess) to move forward, you may want to inform IRCC - Atleast through a webform, if not using a phone call about the mismatch.

A lot of notes, a lot of approved, but look for the notes dates... From February, March , etc... So decision was made before COVID... Sure I am happy for you guys, but there are no new cases approved yet... Looking forward for todays decision about opening borders of Canada!!!
There are “Atleast” two folks whose case got approved recently - one inland candidate who has dependents Outland and one Outland candidate whose VO is Singapore or Sydney.

But good catch though that the one with mismatching Notes1 is from February.

How do we know that there is today decision about border opening?

Last time when I raised a web form around 2 months back background check was valid..now I raised another webform my process timeline is already complete but the now the background check is in process.Anyone has similar case?
just a quick update, based on my latest webform response, my eligibility changed back to MET, and security background check changed back to verification has not been initiated; criminal background check changed back to in process.

Regrettably, travel ban extended until July 31. Sad news for outland applicants! Unlikely to receive PPRs until at least July 31!

https://www.cicnews.com/2020/06/why-canada-is-extending-its-travel-restrictions-0614876.html#gs.92kj6t
This news is still not updated on IRCC and CBSA sites....July 1 re-opening chances are slim though....Next best hope is that travel may be guided from IRCC travel ban but atleast they open Visa Offices and VACs in other countries so that PPR/COPR processing can start (atleast thats what I am pinning for now)

VACs are open in some nations, but, as far as I know, no outland applicant from said nations has been issued PPR/COPR. I think the primary reason for not issuing PPRs to outland applicants is the travel ban, not the closure of VACs. Closure of VACs is the secondary reason.

The best hope, now, is that Canada exempts outland applicants from the travel ban.

Shouldn't we (outland applicants) jointly or individually request IRCC/Immigration Ministry to tell that how, in the light of the extension of the travel ban, they are going to conclude our applications?

We can't keep on waiting helplessly and indefinitely. Enough is enough!

Yes we can keep waiting. We've waited six months already... what's one more month?

Just continue with your life and when things move forward, they will. If you planned your immigration process well, then you should have nothing to worry about.

They are already working through a pandemic so try to think beyond your own self. 30 days is nothing in the larger scheme of things.

Unfortunately over 90% of VFS offices are still closed world wide. It will be counter productive if COPR’s are issued and Outland applicants still have to wait again for VFS offices to resume.
My AOR is Jan 8th, and MEP passed and biometrics complete. I have 10 more days to reach 100%. So I see myself as close to Dec AOR :)

Hello all,
a quick update on our application., we got the gcms notes requested on 15th June.
last note updated on 05/12 mentions : Application appears ready for approval.
AOR: Dec 12 . FSW-O

Regarding travel restrictions, exemptions were made in the month of June for immediate family members . So I would like to believe, similar exemptions will be done for PR applicants as well. :)
