Employment insurance affect on PR

Hi Guys,

Just curious about this,

I am currently receiving Employment Insurance(EI) since past 4 months.

I have received an invitation to apply for my permanent residency under CEC.

Question is,

Does EI will affect my PR application?

Not that I'm aware, unless you are claiming 4 months of EI as being Canadian work experience.

Like I said.

It won't, unless 4 months of your Canadian work experience is EI.

Your work experience ends when your EI began.

Are you counting any of the months since you've been on EI as Canadian work experience?

If no, then EI doesn't matter.

No it won’t affect your PR application. Unless you claimed points for having a full time job before ITA.
