1) I believe so, but I never explored using BSF form, so not sure. I will let someone else take this question :)

2) Yes you can group items, I don’t think there is a specific rule. In my case I listed high value things separate (bikes, tvs, electronics, etc.) and all small low value items I grouped (kitchen items, books, etc) They never told me or asked anything about my list. They took them from me, a separate agent looked at them, took copies, signed or stamped (dont recall) and then gave me one of the stamped/signed docs (I believe I got the original lists backed, but stamped). Each of my lists was about a page and a half, we didn’t have a lot of belongings.

3) if the items are landing with you, then they are accompanying. Would you return to the US with everything again? You can always rent storage in Canada, not sure how many things you have. After I returned as a landed PR, I was driving a minivan full of many of the items on my GTF list. They just took another copy of my already signed/stamped list of GA/GTF. They never looked at the items when I first landed nor in my second trip. I’m not sure how it would work if you leave and return with all the same items. What I would say is that you can put extra things on the lists, even if they never make it to Canada, so I guess you can always double count.

4) no, there is no need to mention this. Your intention should be stated as permanently settling, if you leavee 2-3 weeks later and then travel to Canada in the future just have some explanation as to why you had to leave/return. I was never asked why by Canadian agents, but it never hurts to be prepared.
Right. I'll list down all the items in broad categories on a plain paper and may be keep blank BSF forms in case they are required. Seems fine.

"I was driving a minivan" - Did you hire a rental truck? If that is so, can we hire a Uhaul in US and drop it off across the border? Also, wouldn't be a violation if we enter Canada for the first time on a self owned/rental vehicle with a US plate and without a Canadian license. I know many people do this but what if some cop pulls us over for any reason.

The Request for Medical arrived to my account, so consequently IRCC have the tools to monitor what is being sent to the applicants. Anyways, I am totally fine with that. All I want is just to write here one day: Hey guys, want to share with you my landing experience.
Hi ,did your copr got expired, or this will be the first one after your medical is done ? I think medical extension is given for those who already have a COPR and its expired !!

Well if that's the case then I think many people ( like me who got COPR before 18th March) will be regretting why they did not take special flights to do the landing formalities !!! This means you do again medical, then wait for PPR, then wait for Visa stamp, the whole process can take another 3 months and due to covid this may even go for 4 to 5 months in countries like India (population) !!!!!

May be it depends on VO - you might not be required to retake medicals, who knows. I have already mentally prepared myself for a loooong process.
Lady from the Clinic also told me, that they have a long queue of clients waiting for their appointments since April. It means it will take time to reserve the spot.

I think its also better to redo medical exams, it may cause a delay of a week or 2 initially but ur COPR will have longer validity.

Actually what's funny here is that it's the visa office who is misleading you. If you already passed medicals with M1 or M3 then you don't have to redo the exam. If you are asked to undergo the exams again write them back and quote IRCC instructions to visa offices. Visas and COPRs are being extended by 3-6 months granted you passed with M1 or M3. If you decide to redo exam regardless then that's your decision but just that you know you are being treated differently and the VO is making a mistake here.
@CanV - thank you. Is it confirmed ? "Visas and COPRs are being extended by 3-6 months granted you passed with M1 or M3" - do they auto extend medicals alone OR they extend PRV and COPR as well?

I rented a car (minivan - dodge grand caravan) and drove it to Toronto. There is no issue, you are allowed to use your license up to 60 days, you can confirm online, at least this applies with US license. Driving your own vehicle is different because you would need to do the import process, but if you complete that you can still drive with US license until you exchange it. Uhaul did have an option for cross border but it was 5x more expensive and we didn’t have that many things.

Take care.I think if someone has tickets booked they should be allowed to travel. If he is not a patient.
I actually asked about that to the health official. He said in such circumstance one should get a Covid testing done and have an approved health official(not family doctor) give a letter stating that I do not carry any symptoms of covid-19 and I'm free to travel. I need to carry that along with the covid-19 test report to the airport. The decision to board me or not still entirely depends on the aircraft.
