Owner operator - Questions o how to proceed

Hi All,
Kindly help with below as I am new to Owner Operator (OO)
This is for my brother
We feel he might be in good spot if he goes for OO LMIA and then go ahead with his PR process
Some of my queries are below -
1. How much is minimal investment that might be good enough for approval?
2. Where do we find businesses for sale for this OO stream
3. My brother is a Corp Sales Manager(0601), will he be eligible to file for OO LMIA?
4. After arrival when he starts PR process, will he get 50 points for his past role in India(0601) or can he claim 200 points as would be the full owner of the business he buys?
5. Are there any eligible and non eligible businesses ? He was thinking of something like a Convenience store in Ontario(preferably GTA or nearby)
6. What is the worst case scenario like? For ex, lets say he buys a business and doesnt get LMIA/temp work permit to come and handle the business, is his money lost in that case or he need to only invest on successful arrival of LMIA/work permit ?

There is no right answer, i invested $150,000 and got denied for 00 but they approved me of 0125 instead. I know some one who only deposited $10,000 and got approved for NOC 00

Yes, some businesses are not eligible. Convenience store or any sort of retail is not eligibile.

I would not invest all the money before getting work permit or PR approved. I would maybe make a refundable security deposit contingent on approval of work permit and then pay rest. Keep in mind, even if you get LMIA approved for owner operator you can still be denied a work permit. It happened to me.
