ACCA equivalency through WES!! pls help.

I believe ACCA qualified also gets bachelor degree, you dont have be a member to get equivalnce

Hi Guys,

Can you please guide me?
I sit only in 3 papers exams of ACCA (F7, F9, P2)
And got 7 exemptions on the basis of CA inter.
I did CA inter from ICAP (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan)

So in total I clear 10 papers of ACCA with exemption.
I don't have OBU.
My age is 22
So what say about my WES equivalency...
Kindly guide me... Am confused...

For first 9 papers which is foundation level will earn you 3 years bechlor, it will be same if you r acca affiliate. For acca members you ll get 4 years. For CA intee you might get 1 or 2 years equivalent

I dont think partially complete ACCA is equivent to 3 yrs bachelor degree. Can you please refer where this evaluation has been given

I know recent case Of a close friend where it was given and in any case acca 9 papers r equal to 3 yr degree and same criteria is applied for obu

3 years ACCA js equivalent to Bachelors according to NARIC UK which has no standing anywhere except UK. But its good to hear if WES is giving bachelors to 9 papera

Yep. Two bachelor degrees each for ACCA and OBU. I got mine

ACCA affiliate is equivalent to 4 year bachelor's degree according to WES.

- OBU degree will receive a 4 years equivalent on it's own separately (with or without ACCA).

- WES will assess both of these at the same time in one cost?

- WES should receive the transcripts directly from OBU and ACCA?

My question is can I not send my own application along with all my transcripts and certificates?

Also I have a 2 years B.com degree as well. Is it wise to send that along as well?

B.com will not give u additional points considering you already have acca and bsc. Moreover, for b.com they ll have to provide matric and inter documents as well so no extra benefit for such extra headache. For acca and bsc yes they need documents directly from the obu snd acca

Thats the same for every ACCA member I guess. you need to pass certain courses to earn it.

You should receive membership certificate this month as per their practice. Here is what i did after registering with WES and making payment.

1. Go to OBU online shop and purchase transcript copy. This Costs GBP 15 and extra GBP 25 if you want DHL Courier Delivery. Otherwise they will send by normal post without tracking.
2. Once Purchase is done, email them at acca@brookes.ac.uk with a copy of your passport and order number alongwith WES address and reference number. They will dispatch within 10-12 days to WES.
3. Send an Email to members@accaglobal.com with your WES reference number and ask them to send your documents to WES Canada. They will do it in 10-15 days.
4. Send Copy of your membership certificate and OBU Degree yourself to WES Canada.

Hi, resurrecting an old post here in hope of guidance.
I have a couple of questions. Firstly, when making the application on WES, do we select the level of qualification as 'Higher Education' for OBU?

Secondly, when I buy the degree from OBU to send it to WES, how do I ensure that they'll send the transcript as well and that they'll ensure all the formalities set by WES (envelope with a logo and seal on the opening, etc.). The same question for ACCA, some people told me that ACCA will only send your membership, so for transcripts, you have to send them yourself. but WES has an explicit requirement that the copy should be in an envelope with organization logo and sealed with a stamp .
