Thanks. One thing to understand how come police verification in ottawa gets completed in 10 days but for toronto office ot take 6 weeks. Consulate Police verification from india will be the most sucking n frustrating part. It would add lot of confusion and delay for us.these ppl are really m..fkrs.

NO. Application reached on May 22 (courier update). Since then , no updates. Not a single update on BLS tracking as well

you should get update in a day or two. My app was delivered to bls on May 20, and recieved first update on June 04. Next day it showed transit to conusulate. From june 5 evening, its showing processing at consulate.

I also selected Resident permit and sent my form to BLS Brampton and its in process i also received e mail from passport admin for police verification.

Which document did you attach for the 'PURPOSE AND DOCUMENT FOR SEEKING PCC ' , I attached the ITA letter in it, is this the right document or any other document is also to be sent

There is no such requirements to provide any document evidence as why you are applying for pcc. I cannot see in checklist or anywhere on website.

In my case documents have reached BLS by April 29th.
Then status got changed in May 14th and it is still showing processing at consulate general for the past 14 days. I have no idea why it is taking so long
I need to upload all the documents before July 8.

I have same situation like yours and dates. I am still wondering how many days?

According to BLS Brampton/Toronto checklist ITA letter is not required
Following are the required documents

1. online application form for ‘Police Clearance Application
2. Provide 1photo of size 51mm x 51mm
3. Indian passport (copies of first and last page, copies of all immigration stamp pages to India )
4. Status in Canada (Valid Work Permit or Student Permit)
5. Proof of address (Valid Driver’s license orPhoto ID issued by the Ontario Government, or any utility bill (less than 6 months old)
6. Fees

No, they have called my parents for my basic information.

Application sent to consulate-15 may

Still processing at consulate

Also i have received mail from passportindia.gov about intiation of police verification at local police station

No idea how long they gonna take

I have the same issues and they called my father to ask about me.
I thought that after that they will finish my application but still no response by them.

Hello Everyone!

As we know most of us are stuck with this studid PCC and things are not going smoothly as some of us are worried that they may not get their PCC before their ITA deadline. Do you think it’s a good idea to decline the ITA and create new express entry profile and hopefully get the ITA in next draw(CEC) and additional 90 days to submit our profile. My ITA deadline is 15th July. I am not sure if I can get the PCC on time or not.
Just curious to know how long will it take once Consulate and BLS receives the confirmation from our district SP office that the fresh police verification has been completed.
My police verification back home is completed and they said they will send the details to Toronto Consulate by tomorrow.

Any inputs appreciated!

No email communication after police verification initiation. Write to the consulate by email and through social media platforms. There is no other way out.
