No, still waiting for AoR. But I will be surprised if I get it anytime soon, since they are still processing 14 Nov applications (according to the website).

Is there a way to make sure that they have received my application package ( I used regular mail not Xpresspost with tracking). Thanks

keep eyes on your Credit card transaction. Ones MIDI charge on your CC means all good and will issue AoR same day.

You can call them without any reference number and they will ask you some information to confirm your application, then they will let you know wether they have entered your file in the system or not.

But seriously oct applicant. Before covid they were on 14th Nov and now this... so are they working on October still? Or nov or what

What is even the point of having a CSQ if they are still going to take 1 more year to process the application ? You don't get access to anything, no health, no french, only french online course, which I doubt many seniors would even try.
No wonder Quebec gives 2 years of validity to CSQ, because they want to help their friends at IRCC

The CSQ is the fullfiment of Quebecs right to select their own immigrants.
So, its not so much an advantage and more just like a "extra" red tape.The only thing that I honestly don't get it is why the family program applications for Qc are so much slower than the others.. In theory, if you are applying for family reunion (which is a federal program ) it should not have much different where in Canada you are, but well, apparently it does make a huge difference

• November 20, 2019, for a spouse, a de facto spouse or dependent child;
• November 14, 2019, for other family members.
  

Starting June 1, information regarding timeframes will be updated on a weekly basis

• November 20, 2019, for a spouse, a de facto spouse or dependent child;
• November 14, 2019, for other family members.

They have removed the 1st June line from there website.
