I am hopeless, broken inside, don't know what to do.

My AOR was Nov 30,2018, then in Feb 22,2020 got refusal due wrong NOC code I chose. Also didn't start family planning due to this immigration case. Still I was optimistic that I will try hard again. Now today, stuck at 470 waiting for FSW draws, will loose points in Aug 18, 2020 due to Ielts expiry and 15 sibling points will also loose because my Canadian bro moving to Qatar soon.

Life sometimes becomes so miserable. Now sometimes I curse myself why I didn't choose a correct NOC code when I applied, why I didn't go for family planning.

Extremely frustrated.

Don't worry. There is still hope since IRCC hasn't given any announcements on stopping FSW draws hereafter. They won't do that as well. IRCC's recent tweet says this: "Immigrants are helping Canadians stay safe from #COVID19. They are our doctors, nurses, grocery store clerks, neighbours, friends, colleagues, and family. That's why we #StandTogether against racism and xenophobia. #ImmigrationMatters"

If they had considered stopping FSW draws do you think they will tweet this? Canadian Immigration had been successful for all these years only with the prospective FSW draws. From an IRCC perspective, they never wanted to pause FSW draws and I'm sure they want to resume it soon as that is their "normal". It's all because of this COVID situation which has forced them to go out of their "normal". The only constant in life is change and I'm sure this too will pass. Just be least bothered about all scaremongering posts in this forum. Because not a single article or post is from IRCC. Stay positive, prayerful, and hopeful and you will be in Canada in the right time :)

I don't know. Whenever I try not to think about draws, I search more of it. Also alot of people here speculating that fsw may not resume this year. I don't know man, I just don't know.

Is there a particular reason your brother is moving to Qatar. Couldn’t you ask him to delay his move as the 15 points could make or break your nomination.

Hi. What went wrong with your NOC code?

I created an account specifically to reply to your message. If you are learning French, that could be enough for you and there is no need for anything else. If you get CLB/NCLC 7 in French, then you can get:

  • 15 additional points if you scored CLB 4 or lower in English (or if you didn’t take an English test)
  • 30 additional points if you scored CLB 5 or higher on all four English skills

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements.html

Assuming you have at least Band 5 in IELTS in all four skills and you get CLB 7 in your French exam, that will give you 12 points for the French exam and 30 additional points. That would bring your score from 459 + 12 + 30 = 501 : More than enough points for an ITA!
Hey I appreciate your answer.

I have IELTS finally maxed out. As for French, I do not think I will be able to get CLB 7 in the exam but will definitely do my best.

Thanks again!

What is its link with FSW draw ?
Nothing for sure but usually, when there are updates on a Tuesday, it signifies that there'd be a draw on Wednesday. Sometimes though, this hasn't been the case but I'm letting my optimism win here. The update may well be for something else other than a draw. We keep our fingers crossed.
