Rather you are the best person to take call on this. You should evaluate your personal situation and finances and figure out when is best time for you to migrate. Simply landing in Canada under the fear that your application will be closed is not wise.

You may consider following things to arrive at a decision
1. If you land in Canada leaving your home country job or business, how you are gonna sustain your family in Canada specially under recession ?
2. You can explore soft landing, but you will be required to do quarantine in both Canada and in your home country.

As per my understanding IRCC is not rigid, they are compassionate enough to understand an individual's situation and give him or her an extension based on that. We are still not clear whether they are awarding 3 months or 6 months extension.
Currently giving out 3 month extensions. People many need to reassess their plans given covid and recession. If you don’t want to move until the economy is better yet want to secure your PR you have the option to do a soft landing as the primary applicant and eventually sponsor your family once you relocate to Canada within 3 years of landing,

You will have need to have a 14-day quarantine plan for your final destination., i.e. whatever place in Sasketchwan you are travelling to. Once you arrive in Toronto, you will present your quarantine plan to the officers and then take your flight to final destination. Once you land there, take your bags, go straight to the quarantine location.

6 month extension starting from when exactly? expiry of first COPR?
3 months seem to be standard. 6 months is a long time. If you are especially talking about parent immigration there can be major health changes in 6 months. At a certain point medicals will be required again to make sure Canada is not importing communicable diseases and that PRs are not landing with high medical needs. It will take years for theCanadian medical system to bounce back from covid.

Hi,

My COPR expires on 5 July. I wrote to IRCC for extension and they replied that my file is with Delhi office and I must write to him. I am going to write to them but, I am also planning to check flights in order to see the possibility to go. Does anyone knows about any flights from Delhi to Vancouver in the last week of June or early July.

anyone who is planning to travel at the same time.
Would not send a webform asking for an extension if you are trying to get a flight before the extension. If you are unable to get a flight then ask for an extension.

Yes, I did..on May 15. I was asked about the reason for traveling when I still had time on my PR visa, quarantine plans, Goods list and Proof of funds.
