Hi Guys,

I just got an "information letter" in my CIC account today. It states:

"
I am pleased to advise you that your application for permanent residence in Canada is now complete. Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident of Canada!

This letter constitutes an official document issued by the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. You can provide a copy of this letter to prove that you are a permanent resident of Canada and to apply for government benefits and services for which you are eligible, until you receive your permanent resident card.

This letter does not replace the permanent resident card; you are still required to submit the documentation to obtain your permanent resident card. If you have a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) document in-hand, please send it along with one photo that meets our photo specifications to the address listed above.
"

I'm wondering is this PPR? It does not request passport or copies of passport but only need a photo send to local office at Hamilton...Or is it a CoPR? It has CoPR document # printed on the top left corner. No other updates/documents received before this letter. I am inland applicant, AOR 06-Nov-2019, Med 29-Nov-2019.

Thanks!
LY

Congrats!

Their process has been changing recently. This is exactly how it reads -- you've been approved and you are now "auto-landed" as a PR.

I have received my COPR around 10 days back and I am an Inland Applicant. Any idea if I have to call/email CIC team for PR landing procedure? I have not received any call or email from CIC yet.

And this is why processing is slow for everyone. People calling, emailing and raising web forms left and right. If they tell you to wait, then just wait until you hear back.

Hi guys,
For those who are inland and submitted CoPR and photos for them and their dependents to get thier physical PR card as per the new process. I have 2 questions.
- Did you use a specific courier or just Canada post? I see some ppl used UPS (not sure why)
- Did you send all the documents and photos for all the family members together?

If you received instructions from IRCC, share it please.

Thank you so much for your help in advance!
