Hello Guys!

This is my first post in this forum so forgive me from asking any stupid questions. I raised the webform and it said the following:

The responsible office verified that the eligibility requirements are met under the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

I am 23rd Feb AOR. Does this mean everything is all set expect for background verification? All of my docs pertaining to Proof of Funds, Education, Job details etc have been accepted? Biometric and Medical is already good.

How long now? Weeks? Still months?
Do you request updates for background check and security? I am in us with the same biometric date. No updates on the web portal.
do u see anywhere confirm bg check start in the portal.

No I did not. I was reading posts here and everyone said passing "eligibility" is the most crucial step...but I guess I couldn't have hurt to ask I guess...my bad...LOL

no change, 50% at progress bar
Saw this change in application status:

Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along

Does it mean anything new?
Even I had this on my application when the progress bar reached 50%. I heard it changes automatically when the time elapsed is 50%. Not exactly sure if that means anything.

Hi Everyone,
I had an urgent question.

Few days ago, I created a profile for the Express Entry program.
However, I just noticed that the score calculated and written in my profile(in IRCC) is 30 points less than what it should be.
In fact, they have not added the extra point for the Canadian study.

Is it possible that IRCC makes a mistake in calculating the scores?
or is it because I made a mistake in filling out my profile?

BTW, My undergrad degree is from another country, but my master degree is from Canada, ryerson.
So I only entered the details of my lastest degree, not the bachelor degree.
Can this cause this problem in my scores?

Are there any ways to contact IRCC?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Any idea please.

We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

To-
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Also the status when I logged it showed ‘application/profile updated’ without any email notification

yes!!!!! Wow congrats on that awesome news. Unfortunately ito how many weeks / months it’s hard to say because of the travel restrictions covid etc. I dont even think IRCC themselves can advise, but hey you’ve passed the hardest part so relax.
What was your stream CEC, FSW Outland ? PNP Outland?

Same here. Feb 7 AOR CEC. File is in Edmonton. Criminality in progress & Eligibility, security not started. Seems Edmonton office is processing applications really slow.
