Federal Skilled Workers - Draw has not Happened since March 2020 -

Its quite disappointing that I have 485 points as FSW but unfortunately since March 2020 the Express Entry draws are happening only for Canadian Experience Class (CEC), that too with a much lower cut off CRS Score with is not fair. Hope the IRCC takes a look and is fair to the express entry total pool

Once Canada relaxes their travel restrictions I expect they will begin FSW draws again. The Pandemic has affected draws and processing times.
It's hard but its now just about being patient.
Once draws begin again you should have no trouble receiving an ITA with 485 points.

Thanks for your response! Hope they do it... as Its a bit unfair that lesser points get through while may with more points are waiting on the ring side

It's not about more or less capable. Nor does Canadian government care about what is fair or unfair to people who are not Canadians. That's where their first and only loyalty lies. Unfortunately this pandemic situation has meant that travel must be restricted. That is why we are in this situation. With your points though, you are guaranteed an invitation whenever FSW draws resume. So till then, prepare and save money. Let's hope the economy is not in too much of a bad place, because that is the one thing that might threaten immigration gravely.
