Will it be misrepresentation?

Hello everyone,
I applied for a PG course for Sept. 2019 intake but it got refused. When I applied I was pursuing my mba distance course since 2018 but didn't mention it due to the fact that my student visa might get refused.

However, as of now, I would like to apply for express entry since my master is just finished and I secured triple 7,8 in IELTS. My query is, if I show my master now in EE, will there be any serious consequences like misrepresentation? Kindly help me here.

Not declaring in your study permit app that you were doing a Master's degree was misrepresentation. No one can say if IRCC will take issue with it in applying for PR.

You have asked for trouble here. I do not want people to cheat the system, when legitimate people are trying hard to get-in the right way.

What do you mean legitimate?? Before accusing anyone read the case properly. I have also study hard to finish my masters as well as IELTS. More importantly, I am not here to listen to your BS.

Why did you hide the fact that you were pursing your Masters while applying for Student Visa? Why did you open this thread if you felt that you have done things correctly?

It's not BS. Whether you want to actually acknowledge it or not, by lying about your Master's degree in your app in order to improve your study permit chances, you committed misrepresentation.

Just make sure you declare it where ever it has been asked. I know people who came to canada fifnt pursue their studies then stayed illegal for 2 years went back home got married to someone in Canada and now they are back here !

His MBA was online, his PG study permit application was likely for a taught course in Canada.

Putting the ethical considerations aside (because they are clear enough), i think you have to concentrate on your PR application, think of it as a fresh start.

Just fill it out as truthfully as possible, and that would obviously include putting your MBA and the duration you were studying for it.

Whether or not it will be flagged for misrepresentation is anyone's guess, but at least the omitted information was in a prior study permit application and not your current PR application.

Perhaps you should read my thread one more time to get your answers straight. I have already clarified everything.

I want to know everyone's opinion and clearly you're not helping here. Although I have acknowledged your opinion but if you have any explanation what can be done further to avoid such circumstances then yes help me there otherwise no issues. You can be all righteous you want and keep repeating same thing like a mother.

Don't worry, a failed application for a study permit should not have any impact on your EE application.

You hadn't even graduated from your MBA program, even if they might have access to your previous application I doubt they'd even look at it and even if they do I can't think of why they'd even try to pursue something like this

Being completely honest, I don't think you have much or even anything at all to worry about.

You posted on a public forum. Opinions are what you get. The way to "avoid such circumstances" was to not have committed misrepresentation in the first place. No one here can say whether IRCC will take issue with it in your PR app or not.

I think this is a reasonable comment. It's always advisable to be honest, if you weren't before, there's nothing you can change from that.

Anyways you never got the study permit anyway, so really I think, don't worry and pursue your PR.
