Hi everyone

PR renewal app received the 11 of March as per canadapost tracking.
i have enquiry to CIC and there are a bit behind so to say ! :

"
When an application is received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), it can take several weeks before the processing begins. Information will only be available on file when the processing of the application starts.

We can confirm that at this time there is no permanent resident card application (PR card) in our records.

In an effort to improve processing times, IRCC does completeness checks upon reception for all PR card applications submitted by mail.

The responsible office is currently conducting completeness checks for applications received up to February 10, 2020. Therefore, any application received after this date will not yet appear in our records.

Furthermore, due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.
Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:

[...blabla...]"

If my PR is due for renewal and i complete my residency obligation in July, would it be ok if i could submit my application in May/June.Given the above long processing time, would i be qualified as "residency obligation" satisfied by the time my application s picked for processing?
