hello
when I contacted the IRCC about access to ECAS they told me that the country of issue information I had been using was wrong and they gave me the one that is on file.
I am now worried that for this reason it may be returned. I would like to rectify the situation. How do I go about it?

Hi, I called them today and they told me today that criminality check is completed and background check not completed(Almost started on January 27). Also, one question I got SA as sponsor but my spouse SA is in progress.(I am confused why the person i am sponsoring require SA) How long does it take for background check in progress.

I thought call centers are closed. This seems confusing, spouse SA in progress. It should be PA for your spouse. Can you share your timeline.

Email and you can also see in GCKEY online, under the application.
They don't send anything to the physician. When you find a physician you have to take the email attachments to the office (and anything else they have requested). My doctor used an electronic system so he didnt need spouse's passport sized photos or the paper that came attached to the email. He then sent everything electronically, and he told me they would receive in 2 days.
thank you so much for this information

We are almost on the same page..
Here is my timeline

ECAS In Process - January 10, 2020
Biometrics Request - January 23, 2020
Medical Request - January 24, 2020
SA DM - January 24, 2020

Moved to Mississauga: January 30, 2020
Medical passed - February 6, 2020
AOR 2 - Waiting
Decision Made - Waiting
PPR - Waiting

Your wife/Spouse does not need sponsor approval if you are a sponsor. Before this Virus breakout Mississauga office was quite faster than any other office but things got changed.

Background checks will take time until this all settles down and lockdown removed. So don't think much, everyone is waiting to meet their loved ones.

Why do you say this? We have also not received our medicals, but don't see why this is an issue. I've seen plenty of files that have their medicals requested after it's transfered to the local VO, and many VOs are unfortunately quite slow. If you're going to scare someone like this, at least provide an explanation.

Similar timeline. I spoke to the CIC call center agent just now, my files still in cpcm, and they are working with limited capacity and he told me that eligibility and security havent started yet ( I know we cant rely on the agents answers but gives me hope)
