Greetings!!

I became PR in June 2014, came to Canada stayed for 24 days and went back to my country. I came back to Canada in August 2018 for study purpose. In April 2019, I went for 1 month vacation and came back to Canada. I wasn't reported or neither asked any questions by an immigration officer at the port of entry. I entered the country through a normal process without any immigration related problems. My PR card expired on August 2019. I will satisfy my RO in September 2020. I am planning to file renewal for my PR card in October 2020 or later (to make sure I have satisfied RO). My questions are:
  1. What are the chances that I will get my PR card renewed?
  2. Do I need to submit any extra documents (Other than mentioned in PR card renewal document checklist) in order to prove that I meet RO? (I have all my boarding passes. I can submit my paychecks, university enrollment letter as full time student, transcript etc. )
  3. Will I be asked any questions like "Why I was not in country for first 4 years?" and "Why am I applying for renewal after a year of PR card expiry?"?
  4. Do they check any travel history for PR card renewal or just approve your application as long as you are meeting RO?

Thanks for considering my questions.

Thanks for considering my questions.

1. If you have 2 years residency before you apply and haven't picked up a criminal record in the mean time, you shouldn't have problems renewing your PR card.
2. No.
3. No.
4. They check the travel history, but if you are in compliance with your RO then you are fine.
