  • The background verifications are currently valid.
  • The security verifications are currently valid.
  • The criminality verifications are currently valid.
· All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.


Earlier: it was Eligibility met
criminality in progress
security not started

I dont understand how this changed
Any idea?

Simply, request for the status of your application, specifically ask about Eligibility met or not? Background check, Security check and criminality passed or not.

Thanks, I'll try it once again... I'm at 93% and it got stuck on last status (Medicals Passed on Nov 18): We are reviewing the additional documents you provided (RCMP for my wife)

I got the exact same response , my eligibility was earlier recommend pass.

Your application is being processed at Ottawa? I thought the last phase will be processed at NDVO as you applied from India. Sorry if I am missing anything.

In my profile it says
"We are reviewing the additional documents you provided."
Before it said "Not applicable" after I submitted additional documents.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?

Hi when did u submit the additional documents and when was it?

they asked me to submit RCMP report on Feb 17th and then I submitted it on Feb 27.
from the same day it says not applicable and never changed.

Is it normal

how long will it take to change from not applicable to we are reviewing the documents you the additional documents you sent

For me additional document was my history in details.
It was requested on 2019-11-17 and I submitted it two days after. Then it changed to Not applicable.
Now all of sudden after 6 months when my processing time is already exceeded it says "Reviewing additional documents". I'm little worried

Yes, bobro.., it is clearly stated in their reply that, ".your application is being processed at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario."

Hi all. I was waiting for PR but my passport is going to expire soon. Is it ok to renew passport while PR is being processed? What should I do?
Also, does this renewal affect secuirity check and the cic processing time or processing of PR in general?
All my documents are with the old pass and I am concerned how to move forward- whether better to wait more without renewal as renewal affects the secuirity check process? I appreciate to know your guidance. Thank you so much
