You need to calculate your CRS points. This is what will determine what your chances are of being selected for PR under Express Entry.

I just did via the CRS Tool my current CRS points is just at 378. If I remember correctly, you mentioned it should be at least 440 for me to qualify. I'm currently 0 at Provincial Nominee, Job offer, Study in Canada, Sibling in Canada.

For Express Entry you need more in the range of 470. So your score is unfortunately too low.

You'll need to look at the Provincial programs.

I understand. I will check on other provinces too. Thank you so much! You've been very helpful.

Current status for my Tourist Visa Extension is just "Submitted" No update so far. I'm assuming it'll take more time than usual before I get an update because of the current situation?

If my approximate calculation is correct I am at 72 out of 100. The "CRS" I have no clue about yet.

I have heard that it will be easier to look into other provinces than in BC but I don't have a relative in other provinces sadly. Thank you so much! I would look into it.

Remember that once you're a PR, you can move anywhere you want, even if you've been nominated by another province. And who knows? You might like another province.

Look at your breakdown of your CRS score and see where you can get additional points, such as more work experience, education, better language test score, etc.

I will do more research on how to get provincial nominee in BC and other provinces. Other than what they have on IRCC website and here do you use other guides in looking for a province and getting a nomination?

Currently my CRS is at 378. I'm currently 0 at Provincial Nominee, Job offer, Study in Canada, Sibling in Canada. Thank you!

Think you also need to expect that your visa extension is likely either going to be denied or you’ll be told that you have a month to leave. Having young people live in Canada without a work permit creates concerns that people will work under the table Unless they have significant savings that they can live off of. It is noble that you want to spare your family a potential exposure but you also could just quarantine yourself. To qualify for PR you are likely going to need to do more education and work longer before qualifying.

This site gives you a good idea of what's going on with various PNPs.

Then you just look for each province's page for PNP streams which suit you and follow their instructions.

If you enter the pool, you may receive an invitation by a PNP from them which is unsolicited as well. Usually they take people who are above 300 points.

Do you have 3 years of work experience? Did you put at least CLB 9 for your IELTS result? That should be feasible for you given your level in English.

I would say it is extremely unlikely that OP's extension will be denied. Forcing people to leave Canada just increases the risk of spreading the virus. IRCC is likely going to be quite lenient with granting extensions for now.

Which language test have you done?

You will get 25 additional points once you complete 3 years of experience.

I took CELPIP G.

Wow. That is a lot of points, I am trying to look for companies that are willing to give me a job offer here. I always express how i'm willing to do any task as long as it qualifies on one of the requirements for express entry when I first got here. No luck with that yet.

FYI - it needs to be an occupation that is still level A, B or 0 to give you points towards Express Entry. It can't be just any job - it needs to be skilled.

To qualify for a work permit, the employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA in addition to giving you a job offer.

I will keep this in mind. Thank you so much. I usually get good feedback after interviews but employers tend to stay away when they hear i'm still trying to immigrate probably because of the process. But still hoping.
