Yes mine is submitted only. Thanks for the confirmation regarding fundsThe same situation here. Have you checked your online account? My status is still submitted. My landing was March 4.
No need to hold that fund anymore. You are already a PR, and this is not going to affect your PR card whatsoever as that is not even a requirement for PR card.
Hi, I did my landing on 10 March at the winnipeg/US border; the visa officer said the card will arrive in 4-5 weeks. Now I am not sure if they are going to send it or do I have apply for the PR card?Yes mine is submitted only. Thanks for the confirmation regarding funds
Sweet !! so I will stay put then. And yes I did land at EmersonDid you land in Emerson? If so, we landed at the same port of entry. No need to apply for the card, just have to wait as they are not working normally.
My landing experience in Emerson was not very pleasant, but thank god I made it
I think it is not possible for us to receive our cards within the official timeframe. I don't even know if their PR card processing center is still operating at this moment.
I think their internal mechanism doesn't work in that way. Also the outbreak has disrupted their work..
I landed on 13 th March. About to complete one month. When did you land? This is the 5th week since my landing. I suspect their PR card production center is closed or operating with very limited staff.
Wow, you are describing exactly my landing process!! I believe CBSA doesn't like to process inland flagpole as they understand this is a IRCC duty that is being passed on to them.I received my passport and COPR that morning, and I drove there earlier afternoon. My experience was that the US side officers were much nicer and more friendly than CBSA officers. The CBSA officer who stopped my car at the border crossing had an emotionless face and abruptly asked me why I droved there to land. The second officer who received me in their lobby was very unfriendly and repeatedly asked me why I didn't choose to land in IRCC's Winnipeg downtown office. I said I didn't want to wait for another 2-3 weeks and just wanted to get this done right away. The officer who later processed my landing was a polite and nice officer![]()
Yeah, luckly I got it few days before everything closed and also managed to change my SIN number. I hope you get yours soon as it has been a while now.Yeah.. but at least you got PR card on time. Mine is delayed...
I think your PR card was never sent out from the processing center. The center may have been closed before they were about to send it to you. My status is still submitted 5 weeks after landing.
Thank u so muchRaise a webform to let IRCC know this situation and ask for instructions on what to do next.
