Hello,

This week I submitted my documents to the MIFI including notice of assessment and income tax returns for 2019.

However, I realized a missing thing in my returns today and my tax person has refilled my returns today.

My question is how will this affect my application (my income doesn't change in the new returns only credits do). Do I submit the new documents (IT returns and NoA) when they become available or not. In the mean time is there a way to contact MIFI to let them know that a error has been made and I will be submitting the new documents when available.

Any help or input is appreciated.

Thank you
wait for AoR before calling to MiFi for new NoA from Quebec.

My parents received their Visa and COPR a few days before. But My mom accidentally cut a corner off from her COPR. Does anyone know if the Montreal boarder agent would let her enter Canada with a broken COPR?

I have mailed it (using regular post, so no tracking) on the 20th March, since they wouldn't let me physically put it in the MIFI mailbox. But I haven't heard anything back which is expexted. I wouldn't expect MIFI to be running or processing during these times as sponsorship wouldn't and shouldn't be considered essential service.

No. They refused my CSQ because I was outside Quebec. I explained them that I am in BC only temporarily but they refused still.

Hi, may I ask how they realized you are in BC? What documents implied that you are not in BC? address? driving licence? thanks.

Called Quebec immigration, CSQ has been accepted yesterday. probably receive the letter of confirmation next week. Still haven't received the biometric request from CIC yet, any idea why it takes lots of time? I paid $170 in September 2019
Hi, did you receive the CSQ confirmation letter?

Any idea if visa offices outside Canada are still processing PR applications? Everything looks on hold for me.

Is the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) still processing applications for permanent selection?

The Ministère is continuing to process applications for permanent selection, regardless of the program under which they were submitted. Currently, the government as well as all ministries are mobilized to slow the spread of the virus and limit the impact of the unprecedented crisis we are facing. The government measures implemented over the last few days to respond to the current situation could affect application processing times.

Can CSQ holders who are in Québec and have lost their job renew or obtain a work permit?

To find out about the measures put in place by the federal government regarding access to the territory and the issuing and validity of work permits, consult the Government of Canada’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) page.

Before this situation they were already very slow. Now it seems CSQ issuance will start when this is over.

There are much more important issues at this time in Quebec as well as the fact that immigration employees need to practice social distancing. A delay seems understandable.

I agree, i am not in a hurry, but as a comparison rest provinces are still moving.

Most are not moving quickly and Quebec has a much bigger covid issue than many provinces.
Is it more than London, or other countries, who are issuing requests?

Point is in normal days they allotted only a handful of people to this matter(CSQ), and now we can expect long delays.
