Just for covid 19 treatment,

Hello @canuck78 ,

Thanks for the clarification. Quick check if you are aware of any other source/notifications mentioning the 3 month waiting period waiver is for COVID 19 only? As in - my mum is to land in April can we apply for her OHIP right away - the OHIP website just states a general waiver of waiting period. Could not spot that such coverage will only cover any COVID illness only. Or perhaps I interpreted your response incorrectly?

Sorry it isn’t that was a response was meant for someone else who only had a TRV oops. Not sure why they are covering more than covid treatment but they are.

Fantastic news and thank you for sharing! My mum's flight is on 1 April from Delhi! What are your family member's travel plans? Is flying an apt risk at this time for my Mom?

Flights into India are cancelled for a week so there is a high chance of flights out being cancelled. Flying and airports should really be avoided especially by elderly or immunocompromised.

Hi everyone,
My online status turned to DM for permanent resident application last weekend.
Last week I received two refunds from IRCC, one is $85, another is $895, does anyone know what these are? Any implication on this?

My application was for my parents.
When I submitted application I paid $2250.
When I received DM1, I paid $980 RPRF.
Have I paid too much?
we need for information to clarify.
How many peoples you sponsored?? why did you pay an additional $980 while initial $2250 seems correct fees you had to pay?

Your 2250 did include everything. You paid extra 980 over. They return those 980 back to you ( 895 + 85)

Thank you.
In letter of DM1, there is a line that says "if RPRF applies to your application and you have chosen to defer it, you can now pay it at any time through IRCC website".
I didn't realize my initial payment already included RPRF.
But why do they refund me with a combination of 85+895, why not just a bulk 980?

Yes, the $2250 included everything so they returned the additional amount you paid afterwards.
It’s highly unlikely that they would decline your application without sending a Procedural fairness letter first. Please confirm this info via a webform though.
