Surname blank in passport

I hold an indian passport and it has two fields for name i.e given name and surname. However, my full name in the passport appears under Given name and the surname field is blank.
I would like to know if this would create an obstacle during immigration/PR process.

1. No, you just put both given names in the surname spot and leave the given name space blank.
