Yes, you can apply through SDS if you are a citizen of Pakistan and currently living in Pakistan.

Considering you are living abroad since last few years and will be resigning to come back to Pakistan and submit your visa application, you will have to be extra careful to demonstrate your strong ties to Pakistan. This is one of the most common reason for the visa rejection.

Which country are you living in right now? Have you checked for the processing times for that country? What about your employment prospects post graduation? Have you talked to your employer yet? If they may issue you an offer letter to join their company back post graduation, this will boost your chances of getting the visa.

Also, don't forget to get the Police Clearance Certificate before leaving the country.
I am living in Saudi Arabia right now. I don't want to apply from here because i cannot show my funds over here as there are a lot of restrictions, and in some cases it takes more than 4 months
How can i show them that i have strong ties with my country ?
I can tell them in my SOP that my father is doing business in Pakistan and in Saudi Arabia and we have property over. And i also plan to come back and work in middle east once i have completed my studies as all my life i have lived over here and the only reason to pursue masters in Canada is to get quality education which recognized all around the world.

What do you think ?

If you show property in your name or a job letter that would help your case

You should write your SOP very carefully since there seems to be various factors which VO can make the basis for rejection.

First of all, you ll have to look across your study plans. Why Canada? Why that particular course? How well have you performed in your academics so far? And how this further education will help you excel in your career? Write 2 to 3 persuasive paragraphs and convince the VO that your plans are legit and you are a genuine student.

You can explain your ties with Pakistan by providing proofs such as: Family Registration Certificate to demonstrate that you all are the citizen of Pakistan, Income Tax Returns and/or business registration certificate for your father's business. Get an affidavit for your properties in Pakistan. Do add as many proofs you think would make your case stronger.

Excellent SOP will be the key to explain everything to the VO and make your case stronger. Work on it! Good luck!

Hello Everyone,
Last Friday I was asked to submit my passport by IRCC and on this Tuesday I got an update on my online application that my visa has been approved and I also got the correspondence letter. But till now I am not asked to collect my passport.
I submitted my passport to VAC Lahore, Pakistan. Should I send a web form to IRCC?
Thanks
Can you please share your Letter of Justification? / List of documents?
