Implied status question.

Hi everyone.

I'm currently on an iec visa which expires later this month. I will be applying for PR through express entry and submitting a bridging open work permit application. I have a few questions though:

As long as I have submitted the bowp application, I will be able to continue working for the same employer for the same conditions correct?

Will I have to extend my health insurance for the duration?

If you apply before your IEC permit expires, yes.

Never be in a foreign country without some form of health insurance, even if just for emergencies.
