International Applicants for Fall 2020

I'm currently enrolled at a accredited private university located in my home country and completing BSc ( Computer Science ). I have completed my first year here and have applied to other universities as a transfer student and will be doing the same for Manitoba as well. I'll try to get an advanced entry with the credits transfer.

Manitoba is a good school and cheap for international students but have reviews heard the engineering program is tough.

Do you think Manitoba has a good acceptance rate and would accept me with the grades mentioned in my last post ? I have been rejected by University of Calgary today BTW

Would you advice me to apply for University of Manitoba ?

The acceptance rate is moderate...but I can say the fees is affordable for international students but your grades are okay but remember the school has the final decision...I got accepted into the university with a D in one of my courses so u should do well

I'll pay the fee today then, I have completed the application. I think they'll be considering my university courses while assessing. If they do then I might get into as least which I have scored is C+ however in one course I do have a C as well. In my A Levels ( high school ) I have scored D's which is way I'm afraid.

Same too I got rejected by university of Calgary for the engineering program but got accepted for the mathematics program....the computer science and engineering program is competitive so am rejecting it and going to Manitoba...cause the fee structure is pretty affordable..

I applied for electrical engineering but all students without 24hrs of post secondary studies or have not attended university at all begins the first year in University 1 at University of Manitoba before declearing a major in second year..

I feel bad though I got rejected by Calgary, I was hoping to get an offer from them. I'll apply at Manitoba by today. Should I just clear the thought to apply at Uni of Alberta as well ?

Don't be I had a D also got accepted and I used Olevels but u have Alevels...u would be fine..

My grades for O Level are ( A,B,C,C,C,C,C,C ) and for A Levels ( D, D, D ). My subjects for A Levels were CS, ICT & Physics furthermore for O level they were Physics, Chemistry, ICT, English & Mathematics. My current GPA is 2.71 but I'm expecting to increase it upto minimum 2.8 by the end of this semester.

Would this be okay ?

So I have completed a year at my current university and have completed around 31 credit hours and additional 15 at the end of current semester, which is why I have selected Advanced Entry.

Mcmaster university-Mathematics and statistics
Got accepted to both but decided to go to mcmaster because uoft is too expensive

Imagine if Calgary is like that what do you expect Alberta to be like..they are in same province so they grade the Same way
