And that doesn't make sense either because we've been married for 5 1/2 years, lived together for a year before that, and we're still waiting ... 13 months and counting now!
I don’t believe this “two years of marriage”wait thing either I saw persons are saying ..... in my opinion at the end of the day it all depends on the application , since all applications are DIFFERENT and also the VO’s too.

i would be curious to do a survey here... ppl over a year or that gonna cross the year soon and waiting for news :

Years of been married ?

In my case 1 year and half

That would be a good indicator to look at.

15 months tomorrow and waiting . Aug medicals were passed and have not heard anything since . Today , went to MP to get answers and for your file looks perfect keep patient . I said I’ve been patient 3
Months past suggested 12 months . She said it doesn’t mean anything and most people go over anyways .

Did doing the interview with the reporter help your file any?
You know, I am not sure, but we do have an interview date now - March 23rd - my 50th birthday of all dates! I did actually write to the Port of Spain office and ask for a date last week! But now my husband jokes that whenever we want something done we will just put our son on it! lol

This message is for all that are living the Valentine day without their spouse today or similar. This process is terribly crual and they really have no intention to make it a change at all unfortunately. In this difficult moment , we have to stay united with our spouse that is living outland and showing this person all of our love so it feels included.

I've promised my wife she was living her last Valentine apart there and that she would celebrate it nicely in here and i'm gonna push at it , be sure of it. For most of us , we are in confort zone in Canada, not missing of food as sponsor , having a good house ,a good job and all but would be important not to forget that the person we have chosen is rarely in the same conditions. On both side it's having life on "stand-by" and i believe it's even tougher to keep moving ahead when you don't have access to all you need at foreign.

So to all married and couples , it's a really difficult period for mental but in soon all this gonna be history, Don't give up you guys

Happy Valentine day !

We've been together since 2009. Married July 2017, no dependents. Our application hit the 15 month mark yesterday..I don't think this is much of an indicator..

I ordered my notes on Dec 26th 2019 after my application reached the year mark, received them on January 24th dated 23rd Jan and have not even started the bgc and there is no indication that an interview is needed. So I m 99% sure that Mexico has not even opened my application.
I ordered my notes Dec 27th, they said they couldn't comply with the timeline of 30 days because it's an insufficient amount of time to gather info... So they delayed the access to information by another 90 days.. I don't see any logic behind this whole process. Maybe it just depends on who the adjudicator is
