India has an agreement with Canada they are part of the commonwealth or something . This is why they are processed quickly , however my friend who’s husband is from India is currently at 14 months of waiting so they are all not easy

We are 20 months this month , waiting since 3 months now on Trinidad for a simple date, smh
No they didn’t give a reason....but applicant medical expires in March so hoping for them to step up this month an give us a date because no way would we be doing back an entire medical again from the top! Money doesn’t grow on tree If that’s what IRCC thinks.
In October we receive an email saying in que for interview an that’s it.... still waiting on a date
This right now is about the only time you could ask for an extension on the validity of the medicals - there is some sort of formal process for it and I suggest you do it right away. It's not something you can do last minute if I understand correctly. You may have a chance at getting that approved - and that will help a bit. The wait still sucks though.
We got our interview request October 4th, and learned that our file wasnt sent to POS until November 13th!!! We never got an AOR, but my MPs office nagged so finally - just on Friday - we got an email saying "We have your file and we will send you an email when we have scheduled your interview."
Yes yes our MP nagged at them too an got that same email too saying they will tell us when our interview is schedule for etc etc smh

I was so afraid to re do medicals as we had three, the money situation was getting out of hand , I do hope they have some compassion with everyone who has to travel for medicals etc. Because like you said .... it doesn’t grow in trees
