Hi Everyone,
I got an email stating "
**************************************************************************************************************
The purpose of this notice is to invite you to a Confirmation of Permanent Residence appointment."
We are pleased to advise you that your final determination for permanent residence interview
has been scheduled for "some date".

One of the requirements is :-
Original Documents for
Current and expired Temporary Resident documents issued by IRCC
These include work permits, study permits & visitor records.

*****************************************************************************************************
I only have a current original document (My Open work permit) and do not have the originals of expired study permit (I lost them :(((((.)
Is this going to be a problem? What can I do?
Please Help! I am kinda freaking out.

Also what can I expect in the interview?

Also I am going through a divorce and its not been finalized yet. So, my marital status is still married or separated?

When I got my work permit (by flagpoling) border agent kept my study permit original with him and gave me work permit. He did not give me my study permit upon asking. So, I don't think you not having a study permit original would be a problem.

Read this thread about my landing interview: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/landing-interview-experience-winnipeg-ircc.672764/

Your marital status is Married. But do inform the agent that you have just started the divorce process.

Hi, a bit about my case :-
My marriage had broken down in the middle of my application process. IRCC had asked for an affidavit to remove spouse that I wont be able to sponsor her because she refused to give documents. So, it took them one year to renew my medical and accept the affidavit and send me this appointment.
I filed for a divorce in December and am still in the process of getting it.
Filing for divorce doesn't necessarily mean change in marital status right? I don't have the divorce order or a divorce certificate.
So, if they ask me "Is there any change in my marital status?", Should I reply "No"?

I can understand your dilemma.
When the agent asked us if there is any change is family composition, we said no, but we also mentioned that we are expecting our baby. The agent congratulated us and said that your family composition hasn't changed yet.

Similarly, your marital status hasn't changed yet. So say NO, but do mention that you have filed for divorce and awaiting decision which will take 6-8 months.

When you get COPR appointment, does this mean the decision has been made or the final decision will be made after the appointment?

Yes, it means a decision has been made and it's positive. In the interview they will ask 3-4 questions like if you have commited any crime, any conviction and if your family composition has changed.
They will verify your address and first landing date and you will be done.
