Exactly. That's why my wife is turning everything in in person at the VAC and picking everything up there as well.

It sucks because this final step should be a few weeks and people in here are saying a month has gone by without receiving their passports back. This VO is concerning. Especially when my app is 3/15 and its done and people are waiting on 8/2018 apps.

they just do whatever , their own rules... simply as it.. you've been in the lucky ones is all
i'm app 19/02/19 and just Ecas started processing since October 25th... no news nada.

i'm curious does the ones waiting on Mexico from 2018 are mostly Quebec cases??? i know Quebec is at August 2018 for CSQ....based on their side super late....

1. You get COPR when they send your passport back I believe.
2. They send you everything you need in the PPR email. We are sending giving our documents to the Quito VAC for them to send to Mexico City. Mexico City will send COPR back to them when they're finished, which my wife will pick up personally. We don't trust Ecuador mail.

It will come in this week ! My husband has to be here by Jan 19 and arriving tomorrow I think they are getting them out in order of medicals ..... I would not stop until you get an answer I mean so many things need to be done before leaving , my husband had to last minute quit his job and that wasn’t fun at all plus tie up all the stuff there . Urgh these people keep us on our toes

Hi All, what does AOR2 mean? Will we get another mail? My file moved to Mexico VO on 23rd December 2019. ECAS shows as "Application Received".

Hey frisbee mine was transferred on December 9 and changed to application received on January 12, maybe we're in the same batch. Awaiting medical as well

Wife just submitted her passport to VAC in Quito. Now we patiently await the return so we can book the flight. Lol the final weeks will be the longest.

From what I understand, you receive COPR back with your visa.

That would be really nice to be able to save 2,3 weeks.

In my case Quebec will make it longer cause Mexico have to wait quebec to be done or so to proceed... ugh

I wonder why they would leave the eligibility to last for the principal applicant? I mean why do all that work to process background check and criminality and medical if the eligibility may not be approved. Seems really stupid to do all that work and then determine last if the relationship is genuine.

I guess cause this part MUST be done at VO and since they can't determine this from Sydney (i guess from all the different governmental documents
(marriage certificate per example) and knowledge ,, sydney would need to know everything about every nations.) , rather putting this at end ? Is what i see the most logical even if it's not if you compare the time to get to this step... with all prevous ones.
