Hi all,

I got an email requesting me to get my fingerprints but neither my husband nor my son got any such request. What could be the reason behind this? Why only me and not my husband or son?

Because you have a name and/or other identifying information that matches someone who has a criminal or other record, and they want to make sure it's not you.

Your son and husband don't have similar matches.

I do not know about your husband, if he's been fingerprinted recently and still valid, but for your son, depending on his age. He may not be require to be fingerprint if he's less than 14 years, if I am right: as some minors aren't required to do so.
