Do you guys know how long does it take for them to send second PPR for me and my spouse ?? They gave UCI number for spouse. Its been 8 months now they didn’t ask anything or no ghost update.
Please help me out.


I called ricc very first time on 11 October 2019 they told me your file is in winnipeg office and is in the queue to be assigned to an officer. On 18 nov 2019 I emailed winnipeg vo they told that you file is in officer queue. That’ll i know till now.

Call IRCc and ask then when was your file transferred to Winnipeg, so you can keep track of how many months does it take.

First time I called cic on 10 October 2019 they told me that ur file is in winnipeg i dont know when they transferred after that I emailed winnipeg office on 19 November 2019 they said ur file is in officer queue n processed accordingly. Nothing after that

Winnipeg office is very slow.. i am not sure how long do they take to process a file. I have nt heard anything yet as well

I got reply from local mp they said your eligibility in process, security in process, background in process, medical under process. N for spouse may be background in process. Now what is the meaning of this ?

Did MP contacted main office or local winnipeg office. Did this application status come from Winnipeg or main office.

Question I would he interested in is if officer in Winnipeg has picked up the file and is working on it or not.

Guys try asking yours frends who ( unfortunately) added they spouses in between application and got (unfortunately) transferred to winnipeg officer, which apparently is dead, and have got any news.

Atleat we can establish how long do they take to assign a officer and how long does it take for them to process the PR application.
A frend of mine just had his 18 months over ok CIC portal last month and his file still in queue. Other guy is Up 22 months.

I was confused because they told me everything on phone, as i got my first ppr request in April there is no point to start all the process for me. They have to work on spouse application, they said if nothing came within 1 month, come again to the office.

dont worry about cic portal because they dont update it. Mine 18 months was over in August last year.

They contacted local office as they said no one knows how long it gonna take bacuse they said there is no time line when you add your spouse in between.

I was confused because they told me everything on phone, as i got my first ppr request in April there is no point to start all the process for me. They have to work on spouse application, they said if nothing came within 1 month, come again to the office.

Offcouse they are not gonna run your application again. What I have learned from experience is that, my medical showed passed but when I added my spouse it went back to review..coz they were waiting for my spouse medical.

So in your case all of ur steps are showing in progress because they are processing the same steps for you spouse, precisely, thre processing your spouse background now..

In my case they are saying eligibility is passed (both me and spouse) criminality passed for spouse , progress for me and security not started yet
